Teacher Feedback on Posts

Your teacher can approve, moderate, or send you feedback on your posts directly in MySciLife. This can happen for several reasons, but some of the most common are:

  • Your post is not written in first person or from the point of view of your identity.
  • The science in your post is incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Your post does not include required citations for images and other information.
  • Your teacher would like you to revise the post to make improvements.
  • Your post was posted by the wrong identity.
  • The content of your post is inappropriate.

If your teacher does not approve your post, you will receive a notification in Messages letting you know, and the post will go back to Drafts so you can fix it. The teacher may also leave Teacher feedback to help you revise your work. To view teacher feedback on any of your posts or drafts, click Options (located below the post or post draft in full view) and select View teacher feedback. You and your teacher are the only ones who can see this feedback.
