Notifications

In addition to the messages you receive from other users, you will receive automated messages from MySciLife itself. These messages notify you of important events in your Communities or elsewhere on the site. Some examples include:

  • When a new identity you’ve created has been approved or disapproved.
  • When someone comments on your post.
  • When there’s a new announcement posted in one of your Communities.
  • When a post you’ve written is approved or disapproved.
  • When you receive feedback about something you’ve written.

Tip:  If you would like to receive these notifications via email, set your email notifications opt-in to “Yes” in the My Account screen.
