Disapproving with Feedback

When disapproving a post, teachers are given the option to provide feedback before it’s sent back to the student’s Drafts.

If you do not wish to provide feedback, simply click X to dismiss the box. The post will be marked as disapproved and sent to the student's Drafts.

To disapprove and provide feedback using the Activity Feed:

  1. Click Disapprove or slide the approval slider on the post to Disapprove. The teacher feedback shadowbox will automatically open.
  2. Compose feedback in the box provided, then click Send. When this action is completed the following happens:
  1. The post is returned to the student's Drafts with feedback attached.
  2. The student is sent a message containing the feedback and informing them of the disapproval.

Tip: Click the Please don’t show this again checkbox to dismiss the feedback box for the remainder of that session.
